Hi, I'm Cody — a painter based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and an engineer by day.

I'm a figurative oil painter, and most of my inspiration lives right where I do — in the neighborhood, the weekends, and lazy days shared with my wife, our dog, and friends. I work primarily in oil on canvas and I mostly paint scenes and moments from life.

I love Hockney, Katz, Homer, and Hopper, and I’m always learning working to develop my style. I studied Art and Art History at Williams College but have picked up painting since moving to New York. I like to focus on the people, places, and times that bring meaning to me.
