Art Whenever Possible.

Figurative painting inspired by home, good company, and all the small things.

Hi, I'm Cody — a painter based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and an engineer by day.

I'm a contemporary figurative painter, and most of my inspiration lives right where I do — in the neighborhood, the afternoons, and the small moments shared with my wife, our dog, and friends. I work primarily in oil on canvas, drawn to the kind of scenes that are easy to overlook: a familiar corner, a lazy afternoon, the way people exist in a place.

Influenced by Hockney, Katz, Homer, and Hopper, I'm developing a style that feels genuinely mine — unhurried, colorful, observant, and rooted in place. I believe art doesn't need to be shocking or loud to matter. Life has enough ups and downs. Instead, I focus on the people, places, and times that bring meaning to me.

Thanks for being here. Work is available in the shop, and more is always in progress.
